Wreaths 01:48
Our callus retinas push hues of parade That never make it to the blue, then fade We bare our teeth, yet recoil as the prey We keep forgetting we're not as brave in plain sight, outside Our parade floats detach from their link at the bridge Decorating the water below in a carnage of majorette batons and carnation wreaths. Lethargy plugs up the aqueducts arch Water stagnates as the currents reverse Our island just bobs, unremittingly lost We'll drown here, forgot

Full ten hours; he gets up Irons his shirt and his hands Sits down with Sarah Lund Best friend in Saga Noren She smiles more than him She misses hers and he misses his He’ll smoke two packs and eat six Cheese puffs, sliced ham, and biscuits Unemployee of the month for twelve months Wasted life; worth it? Jackpot? Unemployee of the month for twelve months Two hours chanting dictums ‘You’ve got to stay busy’ ‘The world rewards wisdom’ He hangs and dusts his rejections One whip for each imperfection He dreams of nepotism Crippled by vague ambition Lost faith in altruism Laments his blissful attrition Lateral movement; no jackpot Lateral movement; no jackpot Well-earned bath until half three Checks in with Tony and Chrissie Oils up and he works out Suit on after to impress the postman credits

Alex 01:50
The cloak of omnipotence has started to fray We didn't know how to help you anyway Alex, put down the scalpel You're gonna need that skin For when they shake your hand As the black bath stings the head submerges Come up for air Alex come up for air.
4.
Snap 02:17
Through a one way mirror we watch the paradigm of the perfect man star in the perfect crime reflection's all he has. How will he snap? How will that sound? The daily food tray is how he marks days we are his clock we are his hands How will he snap? How will that sound? Let's make him hungry! Make him cold! HAHA! What else?! credits

David 03:17
David gets home at 5 i'm there already I hate him for all he has i'm hiding but i want him to find me he'll die with the rest of his family the rattle that shakes the curtain is my breath i can't wait and they're all there now they watch the television David makes a joke They laugh I laugh It was a good joke, David! I feel.a little lost now A bit silly i want them to know that i'm here and i'm sorry and i can't do it

As an adult You need a costume I’m gonna wear you As a cloak of diffidence As a boy You’re overgrown Stuck in a costume Each drop of perspired malice you feel drip Hangs a little longer Than the last one we sipped Windmill arms rotate but can’t grip. Folding Proximity If they can’t see anything wrong You’re not sick But I swallow until it’s ready I’m just foreboding in the belly Windmill arms rotate but can’t grip. Folding Proximity And I sit In your crevice of stacked gulps, Waiting for the salt. Hiding is terminable Folding proximity You’ll fold.

Shoulders 01:45
Honest, it's helping... Let our spittle fill the cellophane as we breathe Honest, it's helping... Baste the skin in our own disease Honest it's helping... The holes from the hooks in my shoulders will rot, And my spine's warped from the chains I hung from And my skins devoid of all pigment from years of this But thank you for choosing me, I owe you everything! I believed, as I counted the floorboards, in sway with the others, that i was the problem, I was the worst one. You look from the ground. Did I forget to smile? Did I forget to wave? Please forgive me now Why didn't you kill me? I'm sure the hook still fits me

Servants 01:47
We were the mast Sighed out of sky No waves goodbye Clowns rolled the bow Clouds. [Sinking] Black. [Sunken] Scowls as we’re masticated Memory’s frown abated Friends sleep through the mourning And laugh at our haunting Soluble sentiment You never meant it Don’t compute, don’t come back Insipid servants We were the shoal Coughed from wreckage bones Diffused control Dredgers stole the mouth Clouds. [Sinking] Black. [Sunken] Friends sleep through the mourning And laugh at our haunting

the flesh eats itself it bleeds to the frame a picture of health shy on display Alex crawls up through the holes in my back he speaks directly into my brain he says "i hope you weren't planning on sleeping for long" since i've never known how to respond to him I just start shaking and forget i'm alone Alex's breaths are persistent and close i try not to wince in the pain but he knows then Alex says "i know you can hear me" Alex's hands push me beneath any known threshold there's nothing to reach His fingernails augment the holes i'm doing it myself now i like how it feels his laughing's maniacal over the camera clicks the flashes sting the photos don't ever develop i wake in a pool of fever i look at my hands and say what have i done again Alex says "did you see what you did?" the flesh eats itself it bleeds to the frame a picture of health shy on display
